RESPONSIBILITIES & ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • To carry out daily microbiological analysis of products and raw materials.* To follow procedures diligently and work efficiently to meet daily targets.* To maintain laboratory supplies as required.* To adhere at all times to the health and safety working practices within the laboratory.* To provide QC laboratory and quality reports as required.* To carry out product quality testing as required.* To maintain laboratory test methods and work instructions.* To train manufacturing team members in quality testing and hygiene practices.QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTSThis position requires a minimum of GCSE's in mathematics, and two science subjects. Laboratory Experience is desirable.The successful candidate will also have the following skills:* Analytical/logical approach* Numeracy* Data rationale* Initiative* Flexibility* Written and verbal communication skills* Computer literacy* Safe Laboratory practices
