Randstad Education are currently recruiting for enthusiastic ALN Teaching Assistants for various roles across North Wales. Opportunities range from day-to-day supply to long-term positions. Experience working with children is essential for this role. The ability to speak Welsh is an advantage

Responsibilities:

  • Working 1:1 or in small groups with pupils with ALN.
  • Understanding the needs of each pupil and how best to support them in the classroom.
  • Working with the class teacher to feedback progress and work together to provide the best support possible.
  • Helping out during lunch and break times.
  • Following the school's behaviour management policy.

Requirements:

  • Experience working with children
  • Level 2/3 childcare qualification (desirable)
  • Strong English and Maths skills
  • Enhanced Child DBS (or willingness to apply)
  • EWC registration (or willingness to apply)
