Electrical and Controls LeadFlint£55000Day Shift

We’re looking for an experienced Electrical and Controls Lead to manage and maintain electrical systems, control panels, and automation equipment in a fast-paced production environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and mentor the maintenance team, providing training in electrical and mechanical systems.
  • Ensure all electrical and control systems comply with safety standards and company policies.
  • Implement preventive maintenance schedules to reduce breakdowns and improve equipment reliability.
  • Respond quickly to equipment breakdowns to minimise downtime.
  • Collaborate with production and quality teams to maintain high product standards.
  • Manage maintenance budgets, identify cost-saving opportunities, and track performance.
  • Build strong relationships with stakeholders and provide technical support to ensure smooth operations.
  • Stay up to date with the latest technologies (PLCs, SCADA) and support the team’s development.
  • Prepare monthly reports on equipment performance and solutions to recurring issues.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Degree or equivalent qualification in Electrical Engineering or similar.
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in a similar role within FMCG or manufacturing.
  • Strong knowledge of PLCs, SCADA, and maintenance management systems like Idhammar CMMS.
  • Excellent problem-solving, leadership, and communication skills.
