Job descriptionRole: Maintenance EngineerLocation: FlintshireType: PermanentHours: Monday-Friday (Days)My client, a global manufacturing organisation, is looking to appoint a Maintenance Engineer to join their growing team in Flintshire.This position requires a strong mechanical and electrical background, along with excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively with various teams.Responsibilities
  • Conduct regular maintenance checks on machinery and equipment to ensure optimal performance.
  • Diagnose faults and troubleshoot issues in mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
  • Carry out installation work to include modifying existing equipment and installation of new equipment
  • Ensure that H&S policies are followed at all times
  • Communicate to Engineering team to ensure a comprehensive shift handover is completed
  • Assist team with implementation of new machinery or upgrades of existing machinery.
Qualifications
  • HNC engineering or equivalent
  • Previous experience working with hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical and automated systems
  • Interpret engineering drawings
  • 3 years' experience within an engineering role
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to work alone or part of a team
