The RoleAs a Multiskilled Maintenance Technician, you’ll ensure the safe and efficient operation of a fast-paced production environment by delivering both proactive and reactive maintenance across a range of disciplines. You’ll be responsible for:
- Responding to breakdowns and carrying out planned maintenance to minimize downtime
- Monitoring machinery during production and making adjustments as needed
- Diagnosing faults and troubleshooting issues using machine history and documentation
- Identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions to prevent recurring failures
- Maintaining high standards of health, safety, and environmental compliance
- Time-served apprenticeship in a relevant multiskilled discipline (Mechatronics, Electrical/Mechanical)
- NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in a related field
- Experience in a similar maintenance role within a manufacturing environment
- Proactive problem-solving skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Competitive salary: £48,000+ per year
- Overtime available at 1.4x rate
- Performance-based bonus of up to 5% (paid quarterly)
