Office Manager

£30k-£35k per annum

Deeside

Our manufacturing client based in the Deeside area are currently looking to recruit an Office Manager to join their team on a permanent basis. As the Office Manager you will provide operational and administrative support across the site in addition to providing a customer-friendly service. Supporting the Senior Team and Department Managers, helping to contribute to the smooth running of site activities and providing relief from practical matters.

Performance Objectives

  • Responsible for attending key site meetings to record actions and subsequently assist with the preparation of reports, presentations and other documents for circulation.
  • Liaising with internal stakeholders, including group, and external stakeholders, such as customers, suppliers, etc to manage all site events, visits and meetings, end to end to include organising agendas, meeting room preparation, refreshments, transportation, etc
  • Responsible for the operational management of various facilities on site, including meeting rooms, catering and vending, parking and charging infrastructure. Ensuring they are fit for purpose and taking appropriate action when needed.
  • Responsible for supplier management of office-based services, in particular monitoring effectiveness and ensuring the best service for money.
  • Supporting various internal projects by providing project coordination and administrative support.

Person Specification

  • Excellent customer relations and customer facing skills are a must, you will be a great communicator, both verbally and written, with a high level of attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Experience using Microsoft Office 365, with strong administration, coordination and planning skills.
  • Commercially and financially aware, you will have had previous experience of supplier management, with the confidence to challenge and negotiate.
  • Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment, you can respond to changing priorities with the ability to multi-task and manage colleague expectations.
  • A self-starter, you will be able to work independently and spot opportunities and areas of improvement.
  • Experience of managing individuals/small teams as well as delegating and influencing others.
