Job Description: We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Cover Supervisor to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising classes during the short-term absence of teachers, ensuring that students remain on task and complete the work set by their regular teacher.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and manage classrooms in the absence of the regular teacher.
- Ensure students are engaged in their learning and follow the lesson plans provided.
- Maintain a positive and orderly classroom environment.
- Support students with their learning and address any questions or concerns.
- Report any issues or concerns to the appropriate staff members.
- Assist with other duties as required by the school.
Requirements:
- Previous experience working with young people, preferably in an educational setting.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage classroom behavior effectively.
- Flexibility and adaptability to work in different classroom settings.
- A positive attitude and a commitment to student success.
- Relevant qualifications or a willingness to undertake training.
