Are you detail-oriented with a knack for numbers and a 'can do' attitude? We're looking for a Finance Coordinator to join our team in Flint, managing a wide array of accounting tasks. This full-time role offers great chances to grow professionally and take on new challenges in a supportive environment.

Working Hours:

  • Monday to Thursday: 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM (45 minutes lunch)
  • Friday: 8:30 AM to 4:00 PM (30 minutes lunch)

What You'll Do:

  • Handle everything from customer invoicing and receipts to credit control.
  • Manage supplier transactions, including invoicing and VAT transactions.
  • Take care of monthly Bacs runs and bank reconciliations.
  • Oversee payroll and pensions for up to 20 staff members.
  • Keep track of petty cash and project costings.
  • Prepare and submit VAT returns following HMRC guidelines.
  • Generate monthly reports to aid in management account production.
  • Arrange foreign currency trades when needed.
  • Tackle general accounts admin tasks.

What You'll Need:

  • AAT qualification (Level 3 or above) or similar.
  • At least 5 years of experience in accounting roles.
  • Strong skills in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Sage 50 Accounts.
  • A solid background in various accounting functions.
  • Great communication skills and the ability to work well with others.
  • A talent for multitasking and solving problems.
  • A disciplined approach to meeting deadlines and taking ownership of your work.
  • Confidence to bring new ideas to the table to help our company grow.
