Macildowie is delighted to be working with a client based in Flint, Wales, to recruit a permanent, part-time Finance Assistant. This hybrid role offers a competitive salary and an excellent opportunity to join a leading provider of medical gases.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and raise purchase orders for supplier orders.
  • Match delivery notes to purchase orders and goods received notes.
  • Liaise with suppliers regarding delivery notes and invoices.
  • Assist in the preparation of monthly payroll.
  • Support the timely completion of monthly management accounts.
  • Provide information for month-end accruals.
  • Prepare management information reports as required.
  • Ensure compliance with Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) and Good Distribution Practice (GDP) activities.
  • Perform additional duties as necessary, including holiday cover.
  • Participate in continuous improvement activities.

Candidate Requirements:

  • Ability to work under pressure, especially around month-end.
  • Strong organisational skills.
  • Proficiency in numeracy, literacy, and Excel.
  • Effective communication skills with colleagues at all levels.
  • Ability to escalate problems effectively.
  • Team player with a confident telephone manner.
  • Proficient in SAGE 50.
  • Prepared to work flexibly to accommodate monthly timescales.
