Reed Education North Wales is currently recruiting for a full-time Chemistry Teacher to work at a secondary school in Flintshire, starting in January 2025. This role will involve teaching Chemistry to A-Level students and is an exciting opportunity for a passionate educator who is committed to providing a high-quality learning experience.

Contract: Full-time, Temporary (Supply Role)

Start Date: January 2025

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver engaging and inspiring Chemistry lessons to A-Level students.
  • Assess and evaluate student progress, providing constructive feedback to both students and parents.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in Chemistry education and incorporate innovative teaching techniques.
  • Create a safe and supportive learning environment that fosters creativity, collaboration, and self-expression.
  • Contribute to the wider Science department and school community, supporting student development beyond the classroom.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Proven experience teaching Chemistry at A-Level, with a passion for the subject.
  • Enhanced DBS (can be processed through Reed).
  • EWC membership.
  • Right to work in the UK.
  • NQTs/ECTs are welcome to apply.
