TD Recruitment is seeking an accomplished Senior Quantity Surveyor to join a dynamic and growing construction firm. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in the construction industry and a proven track record in managing complex projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee all commercial and financial aspects of large-scale projects from inception to completion.
- Lead contract reviews, identify risks, and ensure compliance with legal and contractual requirements.
- Prepare and manage detailed cost projections, valuations, and final accounts.
- Negotiate contracts and variations with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers to optimize profitability.
- Provide strategic advice to operational teams, ensuring projects meet financial and operational targets.
- Ensure timely and accurate reporting on project performance and profitability.
- Mentor and guide junior surveyors, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with senior management to develop and implement commercial strategies.
Requirements:
- Degree-qualified in Quantity Surveying or Commercial Management (Chartered status preferred).
- Minimum of 8+ years of experience in the construction industry, with at least 3 years in a senior role.
- Extensive knowledge of contract law, procurement processes, and commercial management best practices.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and construction management software.
