Sonic Summary

We are seeking a CAD Technician for our client in Scunthorpe (DN15).
The salary for this position ranges from £30,000 to £35,000, depending on experience.
Candidates should have experience using CAD software and programming waterjet machines.
The role involves replicating customer drawings, preparing cutting files, and liaising with sales and customers.
Working hours are Monday to Friday from 07:00 AM to 04:00 PM.

We are currently looking to recruit an CAD Technician to join our client based in Scunthorpe (DN15)

Salary: 30-35k experience dependant.

Working hours: Monday-Friday 07.00am-16.00pm

Job Purpose
To replicate customer drawings, prepare drawing files for cutting, program waterjet machines, maintain cutting schedules, liaise with sales and customers to meet customer requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Using CAD based software
Replicate Customer drawings from various file types
Checking customer drawings for errors
Programming waterjet machines
Preparing Reports/quote sheets for sales
Liaising with customers on technical issues
Liaising with sales regarding enquiries
Virtek Scanning customer samples to produce CAD file drawings
Basic Waterjet machine operation

Competencies

Creating and Reading Drawings
Read and interpret engineering drawings
AutoCAD drawing knowledge
