A small but intimate and professional firm of chartered accountants is now keen to recruit a semi-senior accountant on a permanent basis.
The role might suit someone looking to fast-track their experience in an environment that can offer increased autonomy and early responsibility.
This firm is growing rapidly with a core nucleus of clients based in the East Kent corridor and they are now looking to expand further afield.
This is a very exciting time to be joining the business.
You will have the opportunity to work remotely for up to 50% of the time.
You will be responsible for:
- Preparation of statutory accounts to review stage using IRIS
- Assisting with management accounts production
- Personal taxation, corporate taxation and VAT returns
- General bookkeeping duties using Sage, Xero or Quickbooks
- Coaching and mentoring junior staff members and trainees
- Commutable from most towns in Eats Kent- Dover, Folkestone, Deal, Canterbury, Thanet, Margate, Sandwich, Ramsgate etc.
Requirements
- You will have 2-5 years of experience within an accountancy practice.
- You will be AAT / ACA/ ACCA part qualified or AAT qualified, or qualified by experience.
- You will have hands-on experience in accounts, tax and VAT preparation.
