Reed Accountancy & Finance is actively seeking a skilled Accounts Payable Clerk for a temporary role with one of our clients based in Folkestone to cover long term sickness. This position is perfect for professionals who are immediately available and ready to engage in a full-time role directly within our client’s dynamic office environment.

Role Overview: Accounts Payable Clerk

Purchase Ledger Daily Responsibilities:

  • Efficiently process invoices and manage timely payments.
  • Reconcile supplier statements and swiftly resolve any discrepancies.
  • Address and resolve queries related to accounts payable.
  • Maintain precise financial records and prepare accurate financial reports.
  • Collaborate effectively with the finance team to ensure seamless financial operations.

Purchase Ledger Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Demonstrable experience in Accounts Payable or a similar finance role.
  • In-depth understanding of accounts payable processes.
  • Exceptional organisational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in financial software and MS Office, especially Excel.
  • Strong communication skills, capable of effective written and verbal exchanges.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team setting.
  • Must be located within a commutable distance to Folkestone.
