This role involves extensive travel across Kent, Surrey, Sussex, and the South East, making it ideal for a proactive and driven sales professional.
Area Sales Manager Day-to-Day Responsibilities- Develop and implement strategic sales plans to expand the customer base and ensure strong presence in the designated territories.
- Manage and oversee the sales activities within the South region, ensuring consistent, profitable growth in sales revenues.
- Identify objectives, strategies, and action plans to improve short- and long-term sales and earnings.
- Collaborate with senior management to align sales strategies and solutions.
- Monitor competitor products, sales, and marketing activities.
- Establish and maintain relationships with industry influencers and key strategic partners.
- Manage and direct a sales team to achieve sales targets.
- Proven experience as an Area Sales Manager or similar sales role, with a strong track record in meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, capable of building and maintaining strong client relationships.
- Ability to manage and lead a sales team, driving them towards achieving set goals.
- Strong analytical skills to identify trends and sales patterns.
- Ability to travel extensively across the designated territories.
- The ideal candidate will need to show experience obtained from a similar role, be in commutable distance to our client in Folkestone, be required to work full-time in our office, and be available to start work immediately.
