Dovetail and Slate are currently hiring for a passionate Nursery Practitioner to join a vibrant nursery team in the Folkestone area. The nursery offers a warm and welcoming environment, dedicated to nurturing the growth and development of children. The role primarily involves working with children aged 0-2 years (babies) and 18 months-2.5 years (toddlers), but flexibility is required to work with children across all age groups within the 0-4 years bracket.

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality care and supervision to children, primarily in the baby (0-2 years) and toddler (18 months-2.5 years) rooms.
- Create a safe, stimulating, and engaging environment for children to learn and grow.
- Plan and deliver age-appropriate activities that support children's development and learning.
- Build positive relationships with children, parents, and other team members.
- Observe and assess children's progress, keeping accurate records of their development.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure the smooth running of the nursery.
- Adapt to different age groups as required, ensuring each child's individual needs are met.
Requirements:
- Previous experience working in a nursery or early years setting
- Good understanding of child development principles.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently.
- A positive, proactive approach to challenges and problem-solving.
- Level 3 in Childcare or equivalent
