Finance Business Partner Job Description:The Interim Finance Business Partner will be instrumental in providing financial insight and analysis that supports strategic decision-making across the organisation. This role requires a proactive and analytical individual who can collaborate effectively with various departments to enhance financial performance and business growth.

Finance Business Partner Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with department heads to provide financial insights and guidance on budget management and cost reduction strategies.
  • Develop financial models and forecasts to support business initiatives and strategic planning.
  • Analyse financial data to identify trends, perform variance analysis, and recommend actions to improve financial performance.
  • Prepare monthly financial reports, including profit and loss statements, budgets, and executive summaries.
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies.
  • Participate in the budgeting and forecasting processes, providing accurate and timely financial information.
  • Assist in the implementation of new financial systems and processes to improve efficiency and accuracy.
  • Provide training and support to non-finance departments on budget management and cost control practices.

Finance Business Partner Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Finance Business Partner, Financial Analyst, or similar role in a finance function.
  • Strong understanding of financial and accounting principles.
  • Excellent analytical skills with an ability to distil complex financial information into clear, actionable insights. - Proficient in financial software and advanced Excel skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and build relationships at all levels of the organisation.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
  • Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent) is highly desirable.
