About The Company:Farrer Barnes is exclusively assisting a successful and well-regarded company in the south of Kent, renowned for their excellence in the industry.The Role:As Finance Manager, you will oversee the financial health of the company, manage financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting processes, and provide strategic insights to senior management. This is a hands-on, in-office role that will require excellent attention to detail, strong organisational skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with multiple departments.Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
  • Develop and manage budgets, ensuring alignment with business goals.
  • Monitor cash flow, profitability, and key financial metrics.
  • Provide financial analysis and forecasting to support business decisions.
  • Manage accounting functions including ledgers, accounts payable, and receivable.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
  • Liaise with auditors and support the annual audit process.
  • Provide leadership to a small finance team and foster a collaborative work environment.
Desirable Skills:
  • Qualified or QBE Accountant
  • Experience of working in a PE-backed environment
  • Acquisitions experience
