This role offers the opportunity to support the delivery of high-quality care services for elderly people who wish to remain independent at home. You'll supervise a team of field-based carers, ensure care plans are followed, and contribute to a supportive work environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the highest possible levels of care provision
  • Maintain a strong focus on quality
  • Supervise, train, and support a team of domiciliary care workers
  • Carry out care plans, supervisions, appraisals, and support visits
  • Organize rotas and cover unassigned shifts
  • Assist with recruitment processes

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience supervising staff (Senior Carer, Team Leader, Field Care Supervisor, Care Coordinator)
  • Computer literacy skills
  • Clear communication skills
  • Minimum of a level 2 in Health & Social Care Adults
  • Experience working with domiciliary or residential care (preferred)

Salary & Benefits:

  • Salary of £27,000 (potentially higher based on experience)
  • Lucrative benefits package (details not provided)
  • On-call:
    • Weekends: Dedicated on-call staff, with some weekends covered by office staff through mutual agreement (paid extra)
    • Weekdays: Shared on-call between 5-6 office staff, resulting in approximately one on-call day per week (paid extra)
  • Working Hours:
    • Monday - Friday (9AM - 5PM)
    • Care Hours: Approximately 3200 hours per month (adjusted as needed)
    • Some on-call responsibilities outside of regular hours
