Claims handlerFolkestone (office based)£30,000 - £35,000

Barker Munro recruitment have a superb opportunity for an experienced Claims negotiator looking for a new challenge in the Folkestone/Dover area.

Managing Property Owners, Flats, residential lets and Landlord Claims on a daily basis the key purpose for this role is;To deal with and manage all claims reported up to a delegated authority of £100,000.00. To ensure that other departments are aware of any information or trends that may have an influence on underwriting. To ensure that the claims department works in a manner that complies with the rules and regulations set out by the FCA .To assist with claim reporting and bordereau reporting on a weekly and monthly basis.

We are seeking applications candidates with the capacity to manage their own portfolio of Property Owners claims and with ability to interpret Loss Adjusters or Surveyor reports. You should also have good communication skills and be able to communicate the reasoning behind any decision to interested parties. Candidates must have experience of handling Property claims (Household or commercial)
