Academics, Canterbury are currently working with a school who seek a dynamic and dedicated PE teacher to join their high-performing and respected department. The successful candidate will have the chance to teach Key Stage 3, 4 and 5 students, helping them to achieve exceptional results while fostering a love for physical activity.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality lessons in Physical Education across Key Stage 3, 4 and 5.
  • Inspire and motivate students to achieve their full potential in both practical and theoretical elements of PE.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to maintain the department's excellent reputation and track record of success.
  • Use a range of teaching strategies and resources to create an engaging and inclusive learning environment.
  • Monitor and assess student progress, providing feedback and support to help students improve.

Essential Criteria:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with experience teaching in the UK.
  • Strong knowledge and experience teaching Physical Education at Key Stage 3, 4 and 5.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students and colleagues.
  • A passion for promoting physical activity and well-being among young people.
  • The ability to work as part of a team and contribute to the development of the department.
