- Provide a full range of personal and physical care, including assistance with bathing, dressing, feeding, toileting, and maintaining hygiene.
- Ensure privacy and dignity for all clients.
- Prepare and serve meals in line with each client’s dietary needs, adhering to health and hygiene procedures.
- Support clients in maintaining their independence and engaging in social, recreational, and community activities such as craftwork, using public transport, and shop work.
- Act as a key worker for several clients, providing dedicated, personalised care and monitoring daily progress.
- Keep detailed records of clients’ activities, medication, diet, and interactions with carers.
- Report any concerns or changes to senior staff.
- Ensure compliance with Health and Safety, Fire Regulations, and other relevant policies.
- Experience in caring for older people, adults with learning disabilities, or ill adults in a working, voluntary, or family setting.
- A positive, supportive attitude and a strong commitment to providing high-quality care.
