We are currently recruiting for Social Workers to join the Children Social Work Team in Folkestone. The Children's Social Work Team in Folkestone are dedicated and compassionate, committed to improving the lives and outcomes of children and families in our community. Our team is passionate about making a real difference by providing high-quality support, safeguarding children, and empowering families.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assessment and Intervention: Conduct thorough assessments of children and families, identifying needs, risks, and strengths to create and implement effective care plans.
  • Safeguarding: Ensure the safety and wellbeing of children by managing complex caseloads, monitoring progress, and intervening when necessary.
  • Family Support: Work closely with families to provide guidance, resources, and support, fostering positive changes and strengthening family dynamics.
  • Multi-Agency Collaboration: Collaborate with a range of professionals, including health, education, and legal services, to provide a holistic approach to each case.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records, ensuring compliance with statutory requirements and internal policies.
  • Continual Development: Engage in regular training and development opportunities to keep abreast of best practices and legislation in child social care.
