Backend Software Engineer / Developer (.Net 8) Folkestone / WFH to £75k
Do you have strong C# backend development skills combined with eCommerce experience?
You could be progressing your career, in a senior hands-on Backend Software Engineer role, at a digital eCommerce solutions provider with ambitious growth plans.
As a Backend Software Engineer you will design and develop backend systems as the reengineer the current platform to modern C# .Net 8, enabling scalability. As a senior member of the team you'll work across the full software development lifecycle from architecture and design through to delivery.
There's a small, collaborative team environment where you'll be able to influence technical discussions and decision making.
Location / WFH:
There's a hybrid work from home model with three days in the Folkstone office per week, the office has parking, is close to the station and has an onsite gym.
About you:
- You have strong C# .Net software design and development experience
- You have experience of working in the eCommerce space
- You have a strong knowledge of software engineering best practices, Agile methodologies (including TDD), code reviews, architecture and design
- You have excellent communication, collaboration and stakeholder management skills
- You have experience with public cloud - Azure or AWS preferred
- You're degree educated in Computer Science or similar technical discipline
