SEN Teaching Assistant Opportunity - Supporting Primary-aged Pupils (Folkestone)

This full-time position is available for an immediate start. Initially offered as a long-term temporary role, it has the potential to become permanent for the right candidate.

We work with a variety of SEN schools across Folkestone and the surrounding areas, so no matter where you're based locally, we encourage you to get in touch!

Key Responsibilities:

Supporting primary-aged pupils with Special Educational Needs, including Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Social, Emotional, and Mental Health needs (SEMH), and behavioural challenges
Providing personalised one-to-one and small group support
Assisting class teachers with the preparation and delivery of lessons and activities
Helping to create a welcoming and inclusive learning environment, including supporting with classroom organisation and resources
Supervising students during school trips and outings
Breaking down instructions, repeating key points, and offering tailored guidance to ensure pupils remain engaged in their learning
