We are excited to offer a new opportunity at our ‘Good’ Pupil Referral Unit. We are looking for an exceptional English Teacher to join our talented team. The successful candidate will have experience teaching English and will play a pivotal role in the development of our curriculum, ensuring it aligns with Ofsted’s expectations of Intent, Implementation, and Impact. They will also serve as the Lead on Internal Verification for all NCFE courses.

Day to Day of the Role:• Delivering inspiring English lessons that cater to all types of learners, promoting independence and confidence.• Leading the development of the school’s curriculum and effectively communicating it to all stakeholders.• Acting as the Lead on Internal Verification for NCFE courses.• Maintaining high expectations for pupil progress and contributing to the acceleration of their learning.• Employing strong behaviour management strategies to foster a positive learning environment.• Engaging with pupils, staff, parents, and the wider community through excellent communication.

Required Skills & Qualifications:• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).• Experience teaching English, with additional experience in other subjects being advantageous.• Proven track record of accelerating pupil progress.• Strong behaviour management and communication skills.• A good sense of humour and the dedication to develop and maintain outstanding practice.• Both experienced teachers and NQTs are encouraged to apply.
