Salisbury - Assistant Accountant - Salary upto £32k - Manufacturing

My client are leaders in manufacturing and are innovators in the industry. The company are increasingly growing to meet the advancing demands of product development and are looking for an Assistant Accountant.

Main Duties:

To post daily purchase and sales transactions
To ensure bank reconciliations are carried out
To prepare the monthly payroll
To prepare regular BACS payments to suppliers
To assist with stock reconciliations and month end functions
To prepare quarterly VAT returns

Key Skills and Experience:

Previous experience within an Assistant Accountant type role
Strong Microsoft Excel skills
Experience working in a busy finance department

The salary for the position is upto £32k depending on experience.
