We are seeking an experienced Engineering Operative to join a family-run business with more than 50 years of experience in tube manipulation and bending. In your role as the Engineering Operative, you will have experience in the use and setting up of CNC tube bending machinery.

You will work 38 hours per week over 4 days, Monday – Thursday from 07:15 am – 17:50 pm with a 30-minute lunch break.

As the Engineering Operative, your main responsibilities will include:

  • Manufacturing of tubular frames using a CNC machine.
  • Read and interpret technical drawings and work orders to determine production specifications and requirements.
  • Measure and mark tubing for cutting and bending, ensuring precision in dimensions.
  • Monitor Machine operations to maintain consistent quality and troubleshoot any issues that arise.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organised workspace.

You will also be responsible for performing other duties that would include the operation of sawing, deburring, and milling machines.
