We are seeking a General Workshop Assistant to join a family-run business with more than 50 years of experience in tube manipulation and bending. In your role as the General Workshop Assistant you will support all workshop operations, ensuring that production runs smoothly and efficiently.

You will work 38 hours per week over 4 days, Monday – Thursday from 07:15 am – 17:50 pm with a 30-minute lunch break.

As the General Workshop Assistant, you will:

  • Assist in the preparation and setup of materials for the tube bending process.
  • Support machine operators in operating and maintaining bending machines and tools.
  • Complete routine cleaning and maintenance of the workshop and equipment.
  • Adhere to safety protocols.
  • Perform general labour tasks as needed, including lifting, carrying, and moving materials.
  • Operation of sawing and deburring machines.
