HR ASSISTANT JOB SUMMARY:We are looking for an HR Assistant to join a wonderful organisation in Fordingbridge.The successful HR professional will be working alongside an HR Specialist, so will have day to day training and support as opportunity to collaborate on exciting projects too.Responsible for day to day HR Administration and associated employee and people relations, as well as taking ownership for preparing payroll for staff, on a monthly basis.  HR ASSISTANT KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:  
  • Support the HR Specialist with day to day HR and  employee relations administration 
  • Completing new starter / onboarding paperwork
  • Recruitment support - arranging interviews, follow up feedback, sending out offer letters etc.
  • Preparing payroll for circa 150 staff across the organisation and submit to the appointed Payroll bureau for processing
  • Liaise with the payroll bureau to rectify any queries or issues relating to monthly payroll
  • Support the HR Specialist with additional HR or ER administration
  • Maintain an up to date internal record system
  • Filing and general administration
  • Excel - you will be working on excel on a regular basis, especially when it comes to payroll
  • Liaising with internal staff to handle any day to day queries relating to holiday, sickness and absence or other people related matters
  REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE:   
  • Previous experience of working in an HR environment is essential, as is a genuine interest in pursuing HR as a career
  • Payroll - previous experience of processing payroll would be ideal, but not essential as you will be working with a Payroll Bureau who manage the majority of the administration. Training can also be provided in house for this function
  • Excel experience / skills required
  • Strong communication skills, and a willingness to work as part of a small team - essential
  • Own transport - you will be working on site in Fordingbridge at least 3 days per week, so you are required to be able to get to the client's offices.
  • Strong systems experience - you will be working with multiple systems, so a confidence to learn new systems is essential
  • Strong administration experience – essential
