Opus People Solutions are seeking a Part-Time Support Worker (Nights) near Wimborne.

This is a fantastic opportunity that doesn't come around very often! Working part time and term time only, the focus of this vital role is to provide emotional & social support to young individuals - no personal care is involved!

You will mentor and support students with additional social, emotional, autism, and mental health needs, helping them transition into adulthood, further education, or employment.

Actual Salary: £13,088.31 - £14,272.07 (pro rata, based on FTE of £26,663.00 - £29,074.50)Hours: Term-time only, 25 hours per week

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support young people with evening routines and independent living skills.
  • Provide emotional and behavioral support.
  • Encourage students' social and recreational activities.
  • Liaise with parents and carers regarding student well-being.
  • Ensure safety and follow health and safeguarding procedures

To be considered, you will be:

  • Enthusiastic, positive, and creative in meeting young people's needs.
  • Capable of promoting independence and empowering individuals.
  • 21 years or older.
  • Full UK driving license and access to transport due to rural location.
