The Candidate:

Nurse Plus is seeking a confident, proactive and analytical Payroll Admin Officer to provide high quality support to a busy fast paced Payroll function.  A capacity for learning and personal development is essential also.

Duties will include:                                                                                                                              

  • Ensuring the timely and accurate payment of wages by BACS to 2,000 temporary workers on a weekly basis and 240 permanent staff on a monthly basis
  • Updating and maintaining payroll records
  • Responding to payroll queries
  • Assisting with input of new starters, leavers, hours, expenses, SSP, SMP, absences, commissions, changes of personal details and other payroll data
  • Completing tax year end procedures, including P60s, P11Ds, PAYE Settlement Agreement (PSA) and other reports
  • Coordinating all aspects of pensions including auto-enrolment, communications, reconciliations, compliance and salary sacrifice
  • Creating and providing reports in Microsoft Excel for Finance and Operations teams
  • Supporting the Projects Team in system upgrades to ensure payroll continues to run smoothly
