Our engineering client who has been going through a period of sustained growth currently has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Production Planner.

As a Production Planner, you will be responsible for developing and managing production schedules, ensuring material availability, and collaborating with key stakeholders to optimise workflow processes. This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to a forward-thinking manufacturing business while working with a highly skilled team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain efficient production schedules to meet demand and optimise resource use.
  • Load accurate work into operations, ensuring capacity planning is balanced.
  • Collaborate with supply chain, manufacturing, and operations teams to align schedules and prevent bottlenecks.
  • Monitor and manage inventory levels to prevent shortages or excess stock.
  • Analyse production data to identify areas for improvement and efficiency gains.
  • Support the transition from MS Dynamics to EFACS, ensuring data accuracy and process alignment.
  • Work with stakeholders to refine processes and improve overall production performance.
  • Generate reports and dashboards to support data-driven decision-making.
  • Adjust schedules as needed to accommodate changes in sales demand or production constraints.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, quality standards, and industry regulations.
