We are looking for compassionate and dedicated individuals to join our team as Care-at-Home Support. In this role, you will provide high-quality care to individuals either in their own homes or within a nursing home environment. You will support individuals with a range of personal, medical, and emotional needs, helping them live as independently and comfortably as possible.

  • Pay Rate: £13.65 per hour
  • Shift Pattern: Begin with 4-hour shifts, increasing to full-time as the service user transitions to independent living.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with move to independent living
  • Support with personal care (as needed)
  • Accompany him to social activities and hobbies
  • Help manage household bills
  • Provide emotional and social support
  • Monitor safety using his location tracker

Qualifications and Skills

  • Experience with learning disabilities (preferably Down Syndrome) is a plus but not essential
  • Friendly, patient, and fun-loving personality
  • Clear and consistent communication skills
  • Willingness to assist with personal care
  • Flexibility with shifts as hours increase
  • A driver's license is helpful but not required
