Role overview

In this role you will be responsible for generating leads both long and short term. Engaging with existing customers for reviews and referrals. Explore new business areas in academia and industry. This is a great opportunity to get into sales and further expand your commercial knowledge.

Responsibilites

-Provide accurate and timely quotations to customers for products and accessories.
-Maintain strong customer relations through email campaigns and sales-related activities.
-Regularly monitor the CRM system to identify current and past opportunities, promoting relevant products to customers.
-Support customers with inquiries, rerouting them to the appropriate department /responsible person where necessary.
-Help generate leads for both short- and long-term sales opportunities.
-Engage with the existing customer base to gather reviews, case studies, citations, and referrals.
-Build and maintain strong relationships with Vapourtec colleagues to maximise sales revenue and deliver excellent customer service.
-Keep accurate customer contact records within the company CRM system.
-Agree upon and adhere to key performance indicators (KPIs) to drive sales excellence.
-Assist the wider sales team with ongoing tenders and sales administration tasks.

Person specification

Essential:
Drive, self-motivated and proactive
Customer facing or administration experience
Microsoft Office proficiency

Desirable:
BSc Chemistry or related
Sales experience
