Your new companyHays are delighted to be exclusively partnered with a recognised and reputable employer who operate on a national level, with a core hub in the Highlands. Due to an exciting restructure within the payroll team, our client are looking to add an additional individual into the payroll function who is interested in providing support to the existing team as well as developing their own career within end-to-end payroll.Your new roleIn your new role, you will be a key point of contact within the wider organisation for payroll processes and review. You will be a proactive member of the payroll function by supporting with the development and overseeing of daily payroll processing carried out by a wider team of Payroll Administrators, as well as confidently managing any queries that are escalated as part of the process. The company's payroll is carried out on a monthly basis, covering all types of workers from salaried staff to casual workers, operating across several different offices around the UK.What you'll need to succeedTo succeed, you will be an experienced payroll professional who has previous exposure and knowledge in managing and processing monthly end-to-end payroll information. You will be someone who has an interest in managing and development a team, whether this be from previous experience or a proactive willingness to develop this skill as you continue to progress your payroll career. An updated knowledge and understanding of UK payroll legislation will also be highly advantageous.What you'll get in returnIn return, you will be offered a base salary of circa £27,000 with a generous company benefits package that supports you as an individual.
