Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking CSCS Labourer to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a valid CSCS card and be ready to contribute to various construction projects. This role involves supporting skilled tradespeople and ensuring that work sites are safe, clean, and organised. The successful applicant will have the opportunity to gain valuable experience in the construction industry while working in a dynamic environment.
Duties
- Assist with the preparation and clearing of work sites before and after construction activities.
- Carry out general labouring tasks such as lifting, carrying, and moving materials.
- Support tradespeople by providing tools and materials as needed.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations on site.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the work area to promote a safe working environment.
- Report any hazards or unsafe conditions to the site supervisor promptly.
- Follow instructions from site management and contribute positively to team efforts.
Experience
- Previous experience in a labouring role within the construction industry is advantageous but not essential.
- A valid CSCS card is required for this position.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team while also being able to take initiative when necessary.
- Strong communication skills and a willingness to learn new skills on the job.
- Physical fitness is essential, as the role involves manual handling and working outdoors in various weather conditions.
