JR261: General Manager

Salary: £30,000 per annum
Overview:
First Military Recruitment is currently seeking a General Manager on behalf of one of our clients.

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Ensure park presentation meets company standards, maintaining high-quality accommodation and grounds.
- Enforce park rules rigorously to ensure a safe and enjoyable environment.
- Manage and oversee all park operations, ensuring compliance with company policies and achieving financial targets.
- Directly supervise changeover days for efficiency and guest satisfaction.
- Recruit, train, and develop park teams to ensure high performance and guest service excellence.
- Hold regular Head of Department (HOD) meetings to strategize and manage seasonal demands.
- Deliver an outstanding guest/owner experience, responding to feedback and exceeding expectations.
- Take full responsibility for all revenue streams, including Holiday Home Sales, Holiday Hire, Retail, and F&B.
- Control expenses, wage costs, and stock, while implementing strategies to increase sales.
- Ensure full Health & Safety compliance, maintaining records and promoting safe working practices.
- Manage park marketing and brand awareness, including social media and competitor analysis.
- Provide weekly performance reports to the Board of Directors.
- Foster strong working relationships with the central team and other parks in the group.
- Comply with all company policies, rules, and procedures.
- Undertake training as required by management.
Skills and Qualifications
- Proven leadership and management experience in a similar role.
- Ability to organize, prioritize, and meet deadlines effectively.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills, with resilience under pressure.
- Financial and business acumen, with experience managing multiple revenue streams.
- Customer-focused mindset with the ability to influence and negotiate.
- Previous experience in holiday park management is desirable but not essential.
- Must have the legal right to work in the UK.
