Hello!

I am currently looking to recruit an experienced Vehicle Technician in the scenic area of Fort William.

The successful candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of vehicles to ensure optimal performance and customer satisfaction. This role requires advanced technical knowledge, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to lead and train other technicians.

Shifts would be Monday to Friday 8:30am-5pm with the occasional Saturday if overtime available.

Rate of pay - 40k-45k DOE

Key Responsibilities:

Diagnose and repair vehicles accurately and efficiently within a reasonable time frame.

Perform advanced removal, replacement, and diagnostic work on various vehicle systems, including emission control, electrical, HVAC, and drivetrain systems.

Conduct routine maintenance and inspections to ensure vehicle safety and performance.

Utilize advanced diagnostic equipment and software to troubleshoot and resolve complex issues.

Provide leadership and direction to other technicians, including training and mentoring.

Assist with the daily operation of the service department, including pricing work orders, requisitioning parts, and shop organization.

Ensure all work is performed in compliance with safety regulations and company policies.

Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry standards and advancements in automotive technology.

Qualifications:

Master Technician Certificate desirable but not essential.

Minimum of 5 years of experience in automotive repair and maintenance.

Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and equipment.

Strong customer service skills and the ability to communicate effectively with customers and team members.

Detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving abilities.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
