Role is based on site in Chard, Somerset - hybrid, flexible working patterns

Salary £35K - £60K (DOE) plus generous benefits including relocation allowance (if required), Company pension and life insurance, wellness and health programmes and a lunchtime finish on a Friday!

What skills and experience will the Software Engineer need?

• A minimum of 3 years demonstrable & relative experience in robotics, programming, or engineering
• Capable of developing in C/C++, Python
• Knowledge of path finding, navigation, forward kinematics algorithms
• Experience with version control such as Git, SVN
• Familiarity with electronics and low-level programming will be a benefit
• Work well independently and as part of a team, using your own initiative.
• Strong prioritisation skills with the ability to manage competing demands
• Excellent communication skills, ability to communicate verbally, written and via presentation according to audience
