Location: Site-Based - Near Bridgwater
Reporting To: Site Planning Manager

Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled CMS Administrator to join our clients team. Our client are currently building a new build Nuclear Power Station, and the successful candidate will support the Site Planner and Site Planning Manager by monitoring construction and commissioning progress, providing regular reports, and ensuring data accuracy in line with the Master Time Schedule (MTS). This is a key role that requires coordination with various teams to ensure smooth project execution.

Key Responsibilities
  • Set up and maintain CMS on site with accurate baseline data and timely updates aligned with the Master Time Schedule (MTS).
  • Collaborate with partners and subcontractors to validate and report progress data.
  • Coordinate with Engineering, Construction, and Planning teams for CMS quantity revisions and ensure agreement on baseline changes.
  • Track and update quantities, man-hours, construction progress, productivity, and generate relevant progress reports.
  • Provide progress inputs for updates to the Master and Short-Term Schedules (MTS/STS).
  • Generate periodic CMS reports highlighting project status and recommend corrective actions for any areas lagging in progress.
  • Maintain a comprehensive history of project execution for future use and contractual purposes.
  • Regularly update a dedicated project blog with photos and progress updates.
Requirements
  • Degree in Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, Process, etc.).
  • Strong computer skills with proficiency in scheduling, spreadsheets, databases, and presentation software.
  • Basic knowledge of power plants and construction quantities/productivity.
  • Minimum 3 years of site experience in power plant construction/engineering.
  • At least 2 years of hands-on experience with Primavera Project Planner or similar software.
  • Experience in planning and executing at least one full power plant construction project.
Skills:
  • Proficient in English (written and spoken).
  • Strong organisational, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
  • Ability to build relationships across diverse cultures and work autonomously in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proactive and detail-oriented with a logical approach to problem-solving.

Some key notes

50 hours a week Monday-Friday
22 days annual leave entitlement + statutory bank holidays
Site based role
CCNSG (safety passport) is required to work on site

Salary is negotiable dependent on experience

You will be required to undergo security clearance to be allowed on site which would require a DBS check and references for previous 5 years employment.
