SF Recruitment are delighted to be working with a global manufacturing group in their search for a Finance Business Partner to join their team. This is a brand new role and is a key hire into the business. You will act as the Plant Controller from a finance perspective, working closely with operations to drive efficiencies and cost saving exercises. You will present senior management with key analysis on a variety of financial KPI's and have the confidence and skill to influence key decision makers in a consultative manner. 


The ideal candidate will have prior experience within a manufacturing environment and can demonstrate their ability to consult, influence and drive performance. You should be part qualified in CIMA/ACCA as a minimum and experience with SAP is a significant advantage. The long term progression for this role is to step up to Group Financial Controller. 

Key Responsibilities:

Manage inventory, costing, and operational reporting.
Drive cost reduction and productivity initiatives.
Oversee purchase requisitions and standard cost evaluations.
Participate in daily production meetings and monthly results presentations.
Prepare weekly reports and month-end journal entries.
Manage capital expenditures and ensure SOX compliance.
Support statutory audits and continuous process improvements.

Requirements:

Professionally qualified accountant (ideally CIMA) or be actively studying.
Experience in a manufacturing environment.
Strong numerical, analytical, and communication skills.
Proactive, flexible, and pragmatic approach.
Knowledge of SAP an advantage.
