Job Description:
CoE Actuation and Landing Gear Specialist
Primary Role:
- Support new Falconworksâ„¢ program providing actuation and landing gear specialist domain knowledge to set the direction of the development of the program.
- Full lifecycle development of actuation and landing gear sub-systems in support of a challenging first flight timescales and subsequent spiral development.
- Key supplier engagement to identify and engineer solutions to meet challenging first flight timescales and subsequent spiral development.
Secondary Role:
- Provide SME to other SDU supported programs including the Tempest Demonstrator and GCAP programs Development of other SDU engineers in actuation and landing gear domains.
Responsibilities:
- Alignment and consistency of approach with regard to product design/development across the project(s).
- Creation and management/prosecution of Platform level requirements.
- Configuration control of all design artefacts through to design release.
- Co-ordination/management of deviations, waivers, WQNs and SPRs
- Collation of evidence in support of product release, including creation of any Air Vehicle SoD, CoD and limitations
- Interfacing with CEM, System Delivery Units and Air Functions to ensure appropriate to support to Integration activities across all Falconworks Programmes
- Interfacing with PEMs/PTMs to ensure appropriate Engineering effort to delivery of all Falconworks Programmes

Please note, due to the sensitive nature of the projects involved, all candidates must be capable of gaining a UK MOD Security Clearance to SC level. If you are not currently SC cleared the client will sponsor a new application and you can start while this is pending.
This role shall operate inside IR35.
