About the Role:Adaptable Recruitment is partnering with a dynamic business in Helsby to recruit a trainee Accounts Assistant. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone starting their finance career to gain valuable experience and formal qualifications with full AAT study support.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process supplier invoices and employee expenses using a paperless system.
  • Perform bank reconciliations across multiple currencies.
  • Verify supplier bank details and handle payment runs.
  • Reconcile supplier statements and manage inter-company sales invoicing.
  • Maintain cash flow records and support process improvement initiatives.

What We're Looking For:

  • Minimum of 5 GCSEs at grades A* to C (or equivalent), including Maths and English.
  • Strong communication, organisation, and problem-solving skills.
  • A proactive team player with the ability to meet deadlines and embrace change.
