Commercial Finance Analyst

Sellick Partnership have been engaged to recruit a Commercial Finance Analyst for a rapidly growing international business based in Frodsham. This role would be ideal for someone who possesses a proactive and confident approach and is looking to expand on their previous analytical knowledge. The role has the potential to grow into a more senior analyst role in the future, with progression readily available.

You will be working closely with the Finance Director and wider team, to produce timely analysis and accurate performance reporting. You'll also have scope to work on projects and be encouraged to identify opportunities as and when they present.

Some responsibilities of the Commercial Finance Analyst include

  • Provide business analysis to support optimal decison making by directors and management teams
  • Conduct deal reviews. Check pricing vs agreed contracts/pricing
  • Prepare Business Partner trackers to monitor performance vs agreed targets
  • Monitor performance indicators
  • Assist in the development of financial modelling, scenario planning and business case preparation to assist with strategic decisons
  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with internal departments and external stakeholders
  • Ad-hoc reporting and analysis

The Ideal Commercial Finance Analyst will be:

  • Will be a confident, motivated individual with strong communication skills.
  • Either qualified or Studying CIMA/ACCA/ACA or equivalent
  • Strong persuasion, influencing and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with internal colleagues.
  • Organised and who has a strong attention to detail.
  • Advanced Excel skills
