LOGISTICS COORDINATOR£25,000 - £30,000FRODSHAM *** TRANSPORT IS ESSENTIAL DUE TO LOCATION***

YOUR NEW ROLEYou will be responsible for managing the order and production of stock from product set up to thetransportation of stock. Working closely with the Logistics Manager across various stages of the supply chain. This role includes coordinating with suppliers, transport companies, and internal teams, so communication is key to ensure timely delivery, tracking shipments, managing inventory, and maintaining accurate records. You will troubleshoot any delays, optimise routes, and ensure full compliance with shipping regulations while maintaining a high level of customer service and cost-efficiency.

  • Create and maintain product profiles in Sage. Ensure product data is up to date with accurate product codes, descriptions and links to specifications
  • Manage Product Information Master. Ensure all product information is current and accessible within Sage prior to any Purchase Orders being created
  • Once approved, create and manage Purchase Orders (POs) in Sage with agreed quantities, pricing and expected delivery and ex-works (EXW) dates and approval to manufacture dates
  • Manage tracking and confirmation of approval to manufacture process
  • Communicate with internally and with  suppliers to confirm receipt of POs and request S/Cs with agreed EXW dates
  • Maintain and update the Order Tracker. Ensure internal teams informed of any critical updates (e.g., delays)
  • Create, control and manage container utilisation preparing shipping plans in conjunction with suppliers for presentation and approval to Logistics Manager
  • Coordinate vessel booking with overseas freight agent after approval and subsequent handover of all shipment information to Logistics Co-ordinator to ensure seamless inbound of product
  • Manage timely presentation of correct shipping documents from overseas suppliers ensuring that documents are received as quickly as possible
