Thrive Group are delighted to be working with our company based in Frome who are actively looking to recruit a Production Operator to join the team on a permanent basis.
What you will be doing:
Working in a fast-paced factory environment and joining a friendly and focused production team your will be responsible for:
- Work to recipe batch sheets to ensure all stages of production is made to correct company specification
- Weighing and mixing of batches which includes the lifting of 25 kilo bags and containers whilst ensuring that the product is processed to customer's specification and within quality standards
- Weekly stock takes to ascertain stock levels, to monitor stock control, stock ordering and first in first out rotations
What you will need to succeed:
- Previous experience working in a food factory environment.
- Excellent attention to detail and able to follow set procedures.
- Maintain accurate stock levels and complete documentation accordingly
- A good degree of manual strength and physical fitness
- Follow Food Hygiene and Safety legislation, Food Safety and Factory guidelines.
What you will receive in return:
- 29,200 per annum
- 3 shift rotation: 6am-2pm, lates 2pm - 10pm and nights 10pm to 6am
- Company pension *6% employer contribution (*subject to contract)
- 25 days holiday + Bank holidays
