Somerset Education Alliance is seeking a KS1 Primary School Teacher for ad hoc and longer-term supply teaching opportunities in and around Frome.
The position is open to both Early Career Teachers (ECTs) and experienced teachers, with an ASAP start required.
The daily pay rate for supply teachers starts at £120 and can be negotiated up to £200 based on experience and additional responsibilities.
Candidates must hold QTS or ECT status, have a current DBS, and provide a minimum three-year reference history.
Reliability and excellent communication skills are essential for this role, which offers a variety of teaching opportunities in local primary schools.

We are currently seeking a KS1 Teacher to cover at primary schools in Frome for an ASAP start

Please note: Our daily pay rate for teachers as a supply teacher recruitment business starts at £120 but can be negotiated up to £200 based on experience, pay scale and additional responsibilities, and is ultimately at the discretion of school budgets.

KS1 Teacher Responsibilities

- Delivering cover lessons

- Preparing planning

- Following safeguarding and school policies

- Marking work as needed

- Liaising with school staff

KS1 Teacher Essentials

- QTS or ECT status (applications from other teaching backgrounds also welcome)

- A current DBS, or Update Service subscription (the agency can apply for this)

- A 3 year minimum reference history

- Up to date knowledge of the curriculum

- Reliability

- Excellent communication skills
