We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Material Planner to join our client based in Frome, Somerset. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the supply chain processes, ensuring that materials are procured and available in a timely manner to meet production requirements. This role requires strong analytical skills and the ability to negotiate effectively with suppliers while utilising systems such as Oracle EBS and SAP to optimise inventory levels.

Duties
PO Raising

Processing Order Confirmations and updating ERP with current dates

Reading and actioning recommendations from MRP

Reducing revenue risk by delivering goods in to business OTIF

Qualifications
- Proven experience in material planning or supply chain management is essential.
- Familiarity with Oracle EBS and SAP systems is highly desirable.
- Strong negotiation skills with the ability to build effective relationships with suppliers.
- Excellent analytical skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment while managing multiple priorities.
- Knowledge of logistics processes and best practices within the supply chain context.
- A degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.
