Production Operative – Fitter – Temp to perm
Based – Anglesey
Salary – starting at £11.44ph
Our client manufacture solutions for operations across industries around the world. Due to company expansion, they are seeking an experienced production Fitter to join the existing team.
§ Work to expected performance levels as detailed by Team Leader/Production Manager
§ Conduct basic quality checks on the output of the machinery and equipment.
§ Make Right First Time (RFT) and highlight areas not meeting criteria to Team Leader.
§ Work to safety guidelines and procedures whilst performing all tasks.
§ Maintain cleanliness and organisation of work area.
§ Adhere to all company procedures and rules.
§ Use basic documentation and Factory Master as instructed to do so.
As Operator, but also:
§ Operate complex machinery and equipment within your skill level and training.
§ Skilled and experienced across multiple manufacturing operations, requiring minimal direction and supervision.
§ Ability to read and understand technical drawings.
§ Raise concerns on quality or processes with Team Leader.
§ Troubleshoot basic machinery and equipment issues.
§ Train and buddy-up with new operators.
§ Flexibility within skill level to meet business needs in all areas as required by the company.
§ Manage time and workload effectively to meet or exceed targeted output times as detailed on Works Orders.
§ Always comply with all company procedures and rules and have no unspent disciplinary action.
Hours of work are 37.5 hours a week as follows:
Monday to Thursday – 8am – 4.30pm and Friday 7am – 12.30pm. Overtime is also available.
